My understanding of the division between the Hindu population governing the Muslim population minority

As I only have somewhat of a general understanding of the topic, I will state some facts that I do know such as, when things changed in the eighteenth century, where the intent of war was over religious differences; neither religion has accepted each other completely and takes in little influence from the neighboring religion.

In 1947 Muslims forced partitioning of Pakistan which divided the country making a single Muslim homeland. This caused much violence between the two religions and many were killed on both sides. Gandhi stopped the violence by going on a hunger strike which led the Hindu people to stop fighting. The aftermath of the violence resulted in the assassination of Gandhi and the formation of Bangladesh.

The concerns of this whole dilemma that has been happening for generations to now have been ongoing , even possibly similar. It's like a grudge of some sort that lasted since as long as it was recorded.

Interesting Facts

-The great Scientist Albert Einstein once said about Gandhi :
“Generations to come will scarcely believe that such a one as
this (Gandhi) walked the earth in flesh and blood.”

-When he first came to England, his teacher made him copy the Sermon on the Mount, over and over again-for  an exercise in English. Where, hour after hour Gandhi wrote “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. . . . Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God,” and these words made a profound impression on him.

-The last words on his lips were ‘Hey Ram’ (Oh God).

-Gandhi’s thought process and mode of work has inspired millions of people across the world including Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela

Salt March

In the spring of 1930,Gandhi at the age of 61 led the Dandi march from his base  near Ahmedabad to the sea coast near the village of Dandi, where they walked for 390km in 24 days. Also known best as the Salt Satyagraha, a campaign against the British salt tax in colonial India using a non-violent approach, which triggered the wider Civil Disobedience Movement. There, he declared that he would take a pinch of salt from the Indian Ocean, which violated the laws of the Empire that stated only the British can harvest salt.Following with that plan, Gandhi lead thousands on a, "March to the Sea" to symbolically make their own salt from seawater. The British government had a monopoly on salt, controlling both its productuon and distribution, it was then where Gandhi turned to the force of Satyagraha. From a practical point of view, the salt march was was a meaningless gesture, though it had astonishing power in the act in political theatre.

Word Trivia: Satygraha- a synthesis of the Sanskrit words, Satya or truth and Agraha or holding firmly to. But for Gandhi, satygraha went far beyond the general "passive resistance" and became strength in practicing nonviolent methods.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi or simply known as Gandhi was born on October 2. 1869 to his parents,Karamchand( father) and Putilbai(mother). Gandhi would listen to them as they often debated religious and philosophical matters in the house. At age 13, Gandhi was married to a girl of his age named, Kasturbai or "Ba" shortened used affectionately. Some time in upcoming years, with average grades, he went to pursue law and went to London, England to study at the University College London and train to be a barrister. While in England, Gandhi made a conscious attempt to westernize himself by taking lessons in French, dancing, elocution and the violin, but soon to abandon them.
